Anyone who has ever arrived in Amsterdam by train is undoubtedly familiar with the tourist parade on the Damrak, the main route to Dam Square. Among the cheese shops and souvenir shops, Carousel Arcade stands out immediately. A large red arrow points you inside and the impressive facade is not to be missed.
Once inside, it is noticeable that this arcade is ‘on-New Zealand’. It is crowded, full of tourists and the slot machines seem louder in this room than anywhere else. There are a striking number of roulette machines, but also other machines in addition to the classic slots such as the multiplayer including that of Random Runner. The minimum age is 18, but admission is free – as are the drinks and snacks.

Caroussel Arcade is about a five minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. Trams 4, 14 and 24 stop in front of the dNZD and next to the entrance on the Damrak you can also enter from the Nieuwstraat.
Carousel Arcade is open from 10 in the morning until midnight, except Sunday (open from 13:00).
